Orso Bruno is a small establishment so our rooms were on separate floors but easy to get to. This was just a stopover to break up a long drive home (with 2 kids in the car) so it fit the bill. The view of Lake Como was accessible to us (just across the road) and it was beautiful. You could catch a ferry ride from right next door! We weren't able to enjoy their restaurant as it was closed that day. Good parking that could accommodate our large car (with reservation in advance).

Right on the shore of Lake Como, opposite Urio Pier, Hotel Orso Bruno is a 20-minute drive from Como. Rooms are simply furnished and some overlook either the mountains or the lake. Each room has a desk, TV and a private bathroom complete with toiletries and hairdryer. Wi-Fi is free. It's a restaurant specialized in italian and local cuisine. Orso Bruno Hotel is opposite the bus stop linking with Como’s center. The Swiss border is only 5.6 mi away, and Lugano can be reached by car in 40 minutes.
