Just a short drive from one of the entrances to Joshua Tree, this home in Twentynine Palms is all about making the most of the outdoors and this area's famous climate. With a subtly western-inspired interior, it's a single-storey home with a cosy sage green living room, eat-in kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. But it's the outside space that blows others out of the water. With a wraparound yard, covered terrace and patio, there are plenty of places to sit and watch the sunset. Eat your meals at the outdoor dining table, put your feet up on the daybed, or play a few games with friends and family – there's cornhole, table tennis and more to choose from. At night the sky around here offers some of the best stargazing, so light up the fire pit, pour a few drinks and wait for darkness to fall.
