We spent 2 nights at Once in Mykonos on our recent trip to Greece and were blown away by the impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and breathtaking views. In this hotel review, I’ll share my experience and why I highly recommend staying at Once in Mykonos.

Location
Located on a hilltop overlooking the stunning Ornos Bay, Once is Mykonos offers the perfect combination of peacefulness and convenience. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Mykonos Town and a short walk to Ornos Beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island.
Both Mykonos Airport and the ferry port are also easily accessible from the hotel within a 10-15 minute drive, making it extremely convenient regardless of how you arrive on the island.
If you’re planning to rent a car or ATV to explore the island, the hotel offers free parking for guests. Otherwise, you can opt for their shuttle service to and from the airport/port for an additional fee, or you can take a taxi or public bus.
As the hotel is located on a hilltop, be prepared for some steep walks and stairs. However, the hotel provides free buggy rides to and from your room anytime you need so don’t let that deter you.
We loved the location of Once in Mykonos because it allowed us to easily explore the island while also being able to retreat back to the hotel for some peace and quiet.
Rooms & Suites
Once in Mykonos offers a variety of room and suite options, all elegantly decorated with a minimalistic yet luxurious design.
The best thing is that all rooms and suites offer sea views, so you can wake up to the stunning blue waters of Ornos Bay every morning. Many room types come with either a private pool or a sharing pool, which adds an extra touch of luxury to your stay.
We stayed in one of the Panoramic Double Sea View Rooms and it was absolutely stunning. The room had a queen-size bed, a spacious balcony with a seating area, and a luxurious bathroom with Jo Malone toiletries. It was the perfect space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring!
During our stay, we also briefly visited the Elite Two-Bedroom Suite Sea View with Private Pool, which is the most luxurious and spacious option at the hotel.
It’s perfect for families (with kids above 16 years old) or groups of friends, as it can accommodate up to 4 adults. The private pool and outdoor area were simply breathtaking!
Facilities & Amenities
Once in Mykonos offers a range of facilities and amenities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The biggest draw of the hotel is its stunning infinity pool overlooking Ornos Bay. It’s located on the top level of the hotel and offers plenty of loungers, umbrellas, and a pool bar providing refreshing drinks and snacks.
We spent most of our afternoons here enjoying the amazing views! Also, make sure to come by at sunset time too because the views during golden hour are absolutely breathtaking.
For those of you who are looking for the ultimate relaxation, the hotel also has a spa offering a variety of treatments and massages. The spa also has another pool, perfect for swimming or lounging after a gym session.
Right next to the spa, you can find the small but fully-equipped gym which is perfect for a quick workout between beach days.
Once in Mykonos also offers outdoor yoga sessions with a view, which we unfortunately didn’t get to try but it’s definitely on our list for next time!
Dining Options
Infinity Restaurant
The hotel’s restaurant, Infinity, is open all day long and offers a variety of delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The quality of the food is amazing and the views from the restaurant are simply unbeatable! The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options, so you can enjoy your meals with a view no matter the weather.
Breakfast is included in your stay and it’s a delicious American-style buffet with a great variety of options to choose from.
If you know me, you know that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I was not disappointed with the selection at Infinity! Starting our morning with a delicious breakfast and stunning views was the perfect way to kick off our days on the island.
The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, where you can choose from an a la carte menu featuring a fusion of Mediterranean and international cuisine.
We had one lunch and one dinner at Infinity and both meals were delicious, especially the desserts! We also had a stunning sunset view during our dinner, which made the experience even more special.
Apanemi Restaurant
Apanemi Restaurant belongs to Mykonos Theoxenia, the sister hotel of Once in Mykonos, so while it’s technically not part of the hotel, I wanted to include it in this review as it was one of our favorite dining experiences on the island.
Located in the heart of Mykonos Town, right next to the famous windmills, Apanemi offers a unique dining experience with its cozy and romantic ambiance.
The food is absolutely fantastic, with a focus on traditional Greek cuisine made with local and fresh ingredients. The restaurant also has a stunning sunset view, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner.
We timed our dinner reservation perfectly and were able to watch the golden hour over the Aegean Sea while enjoying delicious food and wine. We ended the day by watching the sun dip below the horizon from the windmills, which was truly a magical experience.
The staff at Once in Mykonos will gladly assist you with making a reservation at Apanemi and arranging transportation, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
Final Thoughts
Overall, our stay at Once in Mykonos was absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious yet peaceful stay on the island.
The combination of stunning views, comfortable rooms, delicious dining options, and top-notch service make this hotel stand out from the rest. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with a group of friends/family, Once in Mykonos has something for everyone to enjoy.
