The house has 2 bedrooms so it can easily accommodate 4 people and it offers stunning views over the rice terraces. On clear days, you can even see the peak of Mount Agung in the distance! You can also find a fully equipped kitchen and an open-air bathroom in the bamboo house and there is a hanging net upstairs where you can chill and enjoy the views.
Breakfast is included in the price and you will also find a small local restaurant nearby where you can get some dinner or lunch upon request. As the bamboo house is located in the middle of nature, there are no shops or ATMs nearby so you need to prepare accordingly. 2. Camaya Bali Pyramid
Another magical bamboo house in Bali run by Camaya Bali, located in close proximity with the previously listed house. This tiny pyramid shaped house is located a 90-minute drive away from Ubud, in a small local village called Selat, where you can see local farmers farming their fields in the rice terraces. Camaya Bali Pyramid has 2 king size beds, one in the main room with an open front view and the other one in a romantic bamboo dome in the garden. Both places have their own bathrooms and open air showers and the house also features two large nets for lounging. If this weren’t enough, there is a private outdoor jacuzzi in the garden overlooking the rice fields, which is the perfect place for relaxing.
Since the bamboo house is located in a secluded place, you will not find any shops, restaurants or ATMs nearby but there is a small local restaurant on site where you can have lunch or dinner upon request, and the breakfast is already included in the price. Free scooter is provided on the location and Camaya Bali offers many interesting tours, such as local rice terrace hiking or white water rafting.

3. Veluvana Bali
This cute little bamboo house is located in the eastern part of Bali, near a small town called Sidemen. It’s a 45-minute drive from Ubud and since it’s usually not on the tourist radar, it offers a peaceful scenery surrounded by lush green rice terraces. Sidemen is the perfect base to discover the most beautiful places in east Bali such as the Pura Lempuyang temple or the Tirtta Gangga Royal Water Garden.
Valuvana Bali is built and designed by local bamboo artisans and all the furnitures are made of locally sourced bamboo as well. On the ground floor you can find a small lounging area, a semi-open toilet, a lush rain-forest shower and a kitchenette with a sink, cooler, water heater and coffee maker. You can also find a small pool on the left side of the house which is the perfect place to chill and cool down.
The bedroom is located on the upper floor and it features a double-sized bed, a reclining sofa bed and a cozy bedroom chair. The upper level of the house also features a balcony on the east side and the dreamy hanging net right in front of your bed, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Agung.
Breakfast is included in the price and you can choose to have it either as a floating breakfast in the pool or you can enjoy it in your bed. You can reach Sidemen with a scooter in 5-10 minutes where you can find several restaurants, a traditional market and a small grocery as well.

4. Hideout Bali
Hideout Bali is a unique eco bamboo house hidden in mountains of Gunung Agung volcano, far away from the crowds. It’s located near the small village of Selat, a 90-minute drive from Ubud. The river by the bamboo house is very clean so you can take a refreshing dip anytime and you can also observe many animal species here, such as butterflies, fireflies and colorful birds.
The house has two separate floors. On the first floor you can find a fully-equipped kitchen, a relaxing living area, a bathroom and the entrance to the outdoor shower. The spacious bedroom is located on the second floor with a king-sized bed with mosquito net and a cozy lounging area with bean bags right in front of the triangular window.
Breakfast is included in the price and there is a Hideout Bistro on site from where you can order lunch or dinner to your house. You can rent a scooter for free so it’s easy to reach the nearby restaurants and small towns if you want to explore the area.

Hideout Beehive is an adventurous bamboo jungle hideaway set on the slopes of Gunung Agung, in the middle of rice fields with an amazing view of the running river. Hideout Beehive is a two-story bamboo house set in a small private garden that features a lovely pool fed by the river water. The pool can be heated but it does take a lot of time, so plan accordingly. If you plan to stay for one night, you can let the staff know and they will heat the pool for your in advance.
On the ground floor you can find a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom with outdoor shower. The main bedroom takes place on the first floor, featuring a huge and comfortable round bed. There is another tiny little house by the main house with an extra bed so Beehive can sleep 4 guests in total.

6. Hideout Falcon
Hideout Falcon is a minimalistic bright and spacious bamboo house in the heart of Karangasem regency. Set in a private garden, this little house has one multifunctional room with a comfy king-sized bed with mosquito net, a lovely sitting area and a small counter with cutlery, cups, glasses and drinking water. The bathroom is partially covered and free toiletries are available.

7. Hideout Horizon
Located in East Karangasem, Horizon with its open space design is the most adventurous all the Hideout bamboo houses in Bali. This beautiful house can accommodate up to 4 people but there is no private bedroom in Horizon and all space is open so you should plan accordingly. On the ground floor you can find a fully equipped kitchen with stove and a small fridge, a cozy lounging area with hanging hammocks, a bathroom with outdoor showers and an indoor-outdoor plunge pool.
A bamboo ramp leads up to the first floor where you can find a large round bed with two layers of mosquito net. There are two single beds located on the top of the house that can be reached with a bamboo ladder from the ramps. 8. Hideout Lightroom
Immersed in nature, right next to a calm river stream, Hideout Lightroom is a tiny unique bamboo house set amongst the rice fields in the shadow of Gunung Agung. The house is set in a private garden which can be locked from the inside, providing you full security and privacy.
There is only one multifunctional room in Lightroom which features a comfortable queen size bed with a mosquito net, a lovely sitting area and a small counter with cutlery, cups, kettle and drinking water. If you love music, you can also enjoy the great stereo system inside the house.
The bathroom is partially outdoors so you can have a hot shower underneath the palm trees or you can enjoy a slow relaxing morning in the outside bathtub with hot water and flowers. For more relaxation, you can find a large hanging hammock and a small bonfire place in the garden as well.

This bamboo cottage is a secluded eco retreat nestled in the beautiful rice fields, only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ubud, which makes it one of the best Airbnbs in Ubud. Located in the middle of the jungle in East Bali, this little hut is entirely made of bamboo and it’s the perfect place if you want to experience the authentic Balinese life. There is a comfortable double bed with mosquito net on the ground floor and there is another single bed on the first floor so the house can accommodate up to 3 people.
Apart from the bed, you can also find a bathroom, a small counter with cutlery and mugs and a mini fridge on the ground floor. The bamboo house has a small terrace with a table and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast and soak in the beautiful views. For breakfast you can get some fresh fruits from the host’s garden and although there is no restaurant on site, they are happy to cook for you if you want to try some local Balinese dishes.
