All rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, and the Kingsize rooms have a walk-in shower and bath with complimentary toiletries.
You can opt for an American or Asian breakfast to set you up for the day. The hotel is located just a stone’s throw from the Danube and Erzsebet Bridge. It’s a two-minute walk to the pier, where you can enjoy a river cruise.
2. Párisi Udvar Hotel
Just across the road from the Matild Palace is the equally stylish Parisi Udvar Hotel, part of the Hyatt group. The hotel boasts a fitness and wellness center with a spa where you can unwind after a day’s sightseeing.
The rooms and suites are stylishly decorated, combining modern technology with an understated elegance. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow light to flood in, ensuring a spacious, light, and airy feel.

Sandwiched between the River Danube and Buda Castle is the modern and stylish Hotel Clark Budapest. The location is perfect, with top attractions like the castle, the beautiful Fisherman’s Bastion, and the iconic Széchenyi Chain Bridge just a short walk away.
The hotel has its own fitness center and sauna so you can unwind in style, and as it’s an adult-only hotel, know that your relaxation won’t be interrupted.
Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a coffee machine, and the ensuite bathrooms come with either a bath or shower. Some rooms benefit from a balcony, and all offer amazing views of the city.
Guests can enjoy dinner at the onsite Leo Bistro or a cocktail or two on the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Budapest skyline. This is another of my favorite places to stay in Budapest, thanks to its awesome location.
