Kolympetheres is one of the best beaches in Paros, and also one of the most popular. The beach is famous for its pristine golden sands and vivid turquoise waters, however, the highlight of this place has to be the rock formations.
Huge boulders of granite line the beach and the surrounding area, and you’ll honestly feel like you’ve stepped onto the moon.
Kolympetheres isn’t actually one beach but instead is made up of several small bays. If you’re lucky you might be able to grab a space on one of the smaller beaches between the coves.
With plenty of facilities, watersports, and beauty – Kolympetheres is one of the most-visited beaches in Paros.
If you’re looking to spend a full day here or at least a couple of hours, I would recommend heading there early to avoid the crowds. This way you can rent a sun lounger and umbrella, and enjoy the scenery before the crowds arrive.
2. Piperi Beach
Highlights: Scuba diving, swimming, the scenery
How to get there: Walk from Naoussa

Piperi Beach is just a 10-minute walk from Naoussa at most so you’ll find plenty of fantastic facilities nearby including some of the best restaurants in Paros, various shops, and of course, the port.
However, as it’s so close to the town center it can get extremely crowded – especially during the summer months. Because of this, I’d recommend getting there early!
Although not as scenic as some of the other beaches in Paros, Piperi has a lot to offer. It’s perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving because of its clear waters, and you can even try your hand at fishing too.
Not only that, but it’s a popular spot for sunbathing so it offers something for everyone.
Although this beach is in a great location for families, it’s important to note that Peperi Beach does encounter strong winds from time to time. So if you’re taking the little ones out for a swim just be cautious of the wave conditions.

Although Agioi Anargyroi doesn’t boast the same scenic views as other beaches in Paros, it’s a great spot to visit if you’re staying in Naoussa.
It also tends to be quieter than other beaches on the island so is perfect if you’re looking for a more relaxed experience.
A limited amount of sun loungers and umbrellas can be found at Agioi Anargyroi so you’ll need to get there early if you want one!

Aliki Beach is one of the lesser-visited beaches in Paros as it’s covered in pebbles, not soft golden sands. Because of this, you might even get this unspoiled paradise all to yourself which totally makes it worth the visit.
Although it may not be the comfiest of beaches to sunbathe on, it’s great for swimming and snorkeling as the water is shallow and clear.
You also won’t have to fight any crowds to get a nice spot here, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace.
Aliki is also surrounded by Tamarix trees, so there is shade available throughout the day! You’ll also find a couple of tables beneath the trees which is the perfect spot for a picnic. The village of Aliki is home to two other beaches, so why not visit them too!

You won’t find any facilities here, but you will be treated to an unspoiled paradise that you may even have to yourself!
The water conditions here are very calm which makes it perfect for swimming, or you can simply relax and sunbathe (but beware of the pebbles).
Just make sure you bring plenty of water, snacks, and an umbrella because you won’t find any shops in the area!
Tips for Visiting the Top Beaches in Paros
Before we dive into the top beaches in Paros, here are a couple of things you should know.
- When it comes to the best beach weather, you’ll want to visit Paros between June to September. This is when the temperatures are at their warmest, and the sea temperature is pleasant too. Many people choose to visit in May or October which is much quieter, but the waters will be chilly and this time of year isn’t great for sunbathing.
- The best way to explore Paros is by hiring a car or ATV, but public buses do run throughout the island. They won’t run to every beach on the island, but you won’t have to worry about reaching the most popular ones.
- Many of the beaches in Paros get very busy during the summer months (especially July and August). If you’re planning a full day of sunbathing then I’d recommend getting there early. This way you can secure a sun lounger and umbrella (depending on which beach you visit).
- Some of the beaches in Paros are great for nightlife with plenty of beachfront bars and tavernas. You may want to keep this in mind if you’re traveling as a family and visit one of the quieter beaches if you’re heading there in the evening.
